Position Overview
As our Office Manager & Administrative Coordinator, you will provide comprehensive administrative, organizational, and operational support for the CMDF facility within BWXT Enrichment Operations. You will manage daily office operations, coordinate administrative services, and serve as the primary resource for directors and managers across the site. This role ensures efficient workflow, strong communication, and adherence to BWXT policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements within a secure and dynamic environment.

Your Day to Day as an Office Manager & Administrative Coordinator
• Manage daily operations of the CMDF office, ensuring a professional, safe, and well-organized environment.
• Coordinate office services, supplies, equipment procurement, vendor relationships, and facilities support.
• Provide executive-level administrative support including scheduling, travel coordination, expense reporting, and meeting organization for CMDF directors and managers.
• Prepare, edit, and distribute reports, presentations, and communications on behalf of site leadership.
• Organize CMDF leadership team meetings including agendas, action-item tracking, and follow-up communication.
• Manage visitor coordination, badging processes, security access requests, and compliance with site entry protocols.
• Support HR administrative activities such as onboarding, documentation management, employee coordination, org chart updates, and distribution list maintenance.
• Serve as a central communication hub for the facility, ensuring accurate and timely information flow across departments.
• Coordinate site-wide events, leadership visits, audits, tours, emergency drills, and special activities.
• Assist employees with general administrative needs and direct inquiries to appropriate departments.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information, records, and personnel matters.

Required Qualifications
• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of administrative, office management, or executive support experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or regulated environments preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and BWXT standard business systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, exercise sound judgment, and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated professionalism, confidentiality, and customer-service orientation.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance (if required by assignment).

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting directors, senior managers, or cross-functional leadership teams.
• Experience coordinating events, logistics, audits, or complex scheduling environments.
• Familiarity with secure or regulated facility access procedures.
• Experience with SAP, HRIS tools, or enterprise-level business systems.

The starting hourly rate for this position in Tennessee (US-TN) is expected to be $$39.42 per hour.  The hourly rate offered is based on local job market factors and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,’ unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.  The company further reserves the right to modify the hourly rate (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation, or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or applicable department/team performance, and other market factors.

Position requires U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance which involves an extensive criminal and financial background investigation, drug test and previous employment reference verifications.
