Position Overview:
The Senior Analyst for our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is essential in supporting strategic decision-making by providing accurate financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting. The ideal candidate will possess advanced analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial principles, and a passion for contributing to the financial success of our organization.

Your Day to Day as a Senior Analyst, Corporate FP&A:
- Leads the development and maintenance of financial models and forecasting tools that support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Prepares and analyzes financial reports, identifying trends, variances, and providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather data, assumptions, and key drivers for budget and forecast preparation.
- Conducts in-depth financial analysis and cost-benefit analyses to support capital project evaluations and operational improvements.
- Participates in long-range financial planning, including scenario modeling and risk assessments, to align with corporate objectives.
- Monitors financial performance against targets, and assists in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial presentations.
- Supports ad-hoc analyses and finance-related projects as required, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
- Mentors and supports junior analysts, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Ten (10) years of experience in FP&A, specifically in the nuclear or energy industries, with a focus on capital projects and operations analysis.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a collaborative team environment and lead cross-functional teams.
- Advanced skills in Excel and financial software applications.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and deadlines.
- Experience in strategic planning and business modeling, particularly in regulated industries.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance issues in the nuclear sector.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.
Preferred Additional Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant).
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Master’s degree in a related field.

Pay: $85,000 - $134,000
The base salary range for this position in District of Columbia (US-DC) at the start of employment is expected to be between $85,000 and $134,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,’ unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement. The company further reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and other market factors.
