As the manufacturing functional lead, you'll ensure that our solutions not only meet but exceed business needs, driving enhanced production capabilities and streamlined processes. Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Leading teams: Leads technical and functional teams throughout project lifecycles.
- Training: Trains end-users on new processes and solutions.
- Meeting facilitation: Facilitates meetings with stakeholders, project teams, and external partners.
- Business process streamlining: Streamlines business processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Problem diagnosis: Diagnoses, troubleshoots, resolves, and tests problems in production systems including iBase-t Solumina MES, SAP, timekeeping systems, quality systems, and other production-centric information systems.
- Security: Ensures system security best practices are followed.
- Data integrity: Promotes data integrity and solves data consistency issues.
- Technical leadership: Provides technical leadership to project delivery teams.
- System configuration: Performs hands-on configuration in application modules.
- Business requirement collection: Collects, reviews, and prioritizes business requirements.
- System optimization: Recommends ways to optimize existing systems.
- System design: Architects and designs manufacturing solutions to meet business requirements.
- Quality assurance: Ensures the integrity of solutions through quality assurance practices.
- Team management: Recruits, develops, and mentors team members.
- External partner coordination: Coordinates and leads external partners and consultants.
- Collaboration: Leads and works together in teams with differing needs towards a shared goal.
- Project management: Demonstrates project leadership skills and techniques.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant work experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 20 years is required.
- Direct hands-on experience with MES systems such as iBase-t Solumina.
- Direct hands-on experience with creating and reviewing functional design specifications for MES interfaces.
- Experience capturing business requirements, developing solution designs, planning and conducting data migrations, information system harmonization, and portfolio shaping.
- Strong understanding of project, portfolio, organizational change management, waterfall, and agile project management techniques.
- Experience participating with a PMO, business steering committee, or similar.
- Excellent technical architecture and technical support documentation skills.
- Excellent in preparing technical and executive level presentations and diagrams.
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ERP, Timekeeping, and QMS systems knowledge preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance, if required.

Pay: $98,000 - $154,000
The base salary range for this position in Virginia (US-VA) at the start of employment is expected to be between $98,000 and $154,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,’ unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement. The company further reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and other market factors.
