Operations Analyst


We are currently recruiting for an Operations Analyst for our Ottawa, Ontario facility.




The functions performed by the Operations Analysts enable and support manufacturing and planning activities from a functional perspective as they relate to the Oracle E-Business Suite application.




     Act as the Subject Matter Expert on manufacturing transactions performed with a focus on Oracle EBS.

·         Act as the liaison between IT and manufacturing operations.

·         Collect requirements, analyze and contribute to design documents.

·         Perform impact analysis for application changes.

·         Model and test manufacturing processes within Oracle EBS.

·         Define, plan and implement process improvements within Oracle EBS.

·         Support manufacturing operations within Oracle EBS.

·         Provide coaching and training to a broad and diverse group of ERP users.

·         Lead continuous improvement activities and complete required documentation and testing to support implementation of improvements.




The candidate must possess and demonstrate the following:


     Have knowledge of the standard functionality within Oracle E-business Suite.

·         Have knowledge of customization capabilities within Oracle E-business Suite.

·         Minimum 2 years of experience working on enterprise-wide implementations of Oracle ERP systems, especially in ERP Discrete Manufacturing.

·         Have experience and expertise in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset as it assists with the development and implementation of system solutions.

·         Proven leadership skills and the ability to negotiate complex issues with stakeholders having cross functional interests and priorities.

·         Proven project management capabilities in order to expedite short as well as multi-month projects to progress continuous improvement opportunities.

·         Experience working on projects across multiple sites, broad geographies and multiple lines of business.

·         Strong analytical and problem solving skills to enable trouble shooting and problem resolution within tight timelines.  

·         Excellent verbal communication skills, both written and spoken.

·         Experience working in environments under formal design processes and change control.

·         Knowledge of regulatory issues and requirements associated with the manufacturing of medical isotopes, radiopharmaceuticals, and/or medical devices is considered an asset.
