Summary:

** In Office Position in New Orleans** Lead OSHA Process Safety Management Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) Program. 1. Perform PHAs for new/modified systems; revalidate PHAs every 5 years. 2. Lead overall process hazard analysis recommendation resolution. 3. Analyze new systems, equipment, and proposed design changes for Process Safety Management. 4. Review changes to processes and methods for process hazard analysis impact. 5. Improve program per OSHA VPP guidance. Perform specialized technical safety analyses. 1. Perform facility siting studies for placement of temporary and permanent facilities 2.Perform non-PHA process hazard analyses/risk assessments. 3. Provide emergency management hazards identification support. 4. Provide safety analyses for new processes and methods or revisions to existing processes and methods. Assure compliance with DOE safety engineering requirements. 1. Perform gap analysis of orders. 2. Update programs for compliance with orders. 3. Support safety and risk program. Lead the Upset Response Program. 1. Analyze new upset conditions and develop responses. 2. Review and update Upset Response Manuals. 3. Prepare / approve assigned site operational procedures.
