BWXT is currently seeking a Site Finance Lead for its Mt. Vernon, IN location!

 

This is a fast-paced, continually evolving position suitable for a fast learner who enjoys being challenged and looks forward to development opportunities.

 

Job Description/Duties:

  • Acts as the daily contact for the General Manager for all financial aspects of the facility.
  • Prepares financial analysis reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual review meetings.
  • Reviews actual project performance against budgeted performance and verifies accuracy and correctness of the data used in preparing reports.
  • Prepares complex financial reports and analyzes unusual items.
  • Participates in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Evaluates existing data to determine trends; makes recommendations to reflect those trends.
  • Cross-trains with other department personnel to provide sufficient coverage of departmental responsibilities.
  • Will self-direct tasks and responsibilities.
  • Performs general accounting duties as needed, including capital expenditures and fixed asset accounting.
  • Assumes a leadership role for special projects.

 

Job Qualifications/Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
  • Must possess at least two or more years of related experience.
  • Ability to interpret and apply company guidelines, SOX, GAAP, and government regulations.
  • Must be able to demonstrate superior written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
  • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities is required.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a rapidly changing environment is required.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is required.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.
