Join the growing Planning and Scheduling team at BWXT's Mt. Vernon, IN facility. We are seeking an experienced Planner/Scheduler to create long term plans and capacity plans to support our growth! 

 

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Create high level business production plans (forecast; 2+ years)
  • Develop capacity planning data and information tools for operations review and support
  • Provide early identification of manpower and work center constraints both short and long term
  • Construct various scenarios of current and future contract proposals supporting business objectives using advanced modeling tools
  • Develop and provide business metrics and reports
  • Re-direct program planner and scheduling objectives as necessary based on overall performance and unforeseen constraints
  • Provide hours analysis supporting load board generation and verification

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Engineering, Science, or Business related field
  • A minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience

  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Motivated self-starter, capable of achieving objectives in a demanding environment
  • Effective working in a team environment and mentoring team members
  • Highly detail-oriented, accurate and organized
  • Excellent problem solving and data analysis skills
  • Proficient with Excel
  • Must be a US Citizen/No dual citizenship

 

Preferred Requirements:

  • SAP-PP/DS or similar MRP system
  • ProModel/Shipyard AI
  • EVM experience
  • Power BI

Pay: $62,000.00 - $109,000.00

 

The base salary range for this position in Indiana (US-IN) at the start of employment is expected to be between $62,000.00 and $109,000.00 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,’ unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.  The company further reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and other market factors.
