Nuclear Operations Group, Inc. (NOG) is looking for a Digital Transformation Project Manager! 

 

As a Digital Process Improvement Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying, designing, and implementing digital solutions to improve business processes. You will work closely with various departments, and between the NOG sites, to understand their process challenges and develop innovative strategies to optimize workflows, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational efficiency.  You will also work with peers at other NOG facilities to create processes and practices that are consistent across the organization. The transformation roadmap includes initiatives to transform NOG’s production planning and scheduling, create a paperless manufacturing facility, optimize digital data collection, and upgrade the existing Enterprise Resource Planning software.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Process Analysis & Optimization:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and optimize resource utilization.

2. Project Management:

  • Lead and manage process improvement projects from conception to implementation.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget by increasing employee adoption and usage.

3. Stakeholder Engagement and Change Management:

  • Collaborate with department heads, IT teams, and external vendors to align process improvement initiatives with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with identified Change Management sponsors and Chang Champions to help create and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage while minimizing resistance.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure buy-in and successful adoption of new processes.
  • Coordinate with peers at other facilities to develop a common approach or method to new systems.

4. Technology Integration:

  • Evaluate and implement new technologies and digital tools to enhance process efficiency.
  • Stay abreast of the latest digital trends and innovations applicable to process improvement.

5. Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Utilize data analytics to measure process performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on process improvement projects and their impact on business performance.
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress.

6. Training & Support:

  • Work with site training departments to develop training materials and coordinate sessions to educate staff on new processes and digital tools.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure sustainable process improvements.
  • Evaluate and ensure user readiness.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of relevant experience or at least 9 years’ experience in engineering, data science, computer science, business analytics, or a related field.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.

Additional Qualifications:

  • At least two (2) years of project management experience is preferred.
  • Proven experience in process improvement, project management, and digital transformation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis and process mapping tools.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • A solid understanding of change management principles, methodologies and tools; experience with Prosci ADKAR® Model is preferred.
  • Innovative and strategic thinker.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Adaptability and willingness to embrace change.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.

 

The base salary range for this position in Indiana (US-IN) at the start of employment is expected to be between $62,000 and $109,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,’ unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.  The company further reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and other market factors.
