Job Description/Duties:

• The design, implementation and maintenance of applications that support the quality requirements of products manufactured at BWXT NOG-L.
• Software design, software implementation, software testing, software documentation, and user support.
• Projects will include support of Windows Forms applications written in Visual Basic and C# along with a few small intranet sites.
• Projects will also include the development and support of modern replacements for legacy software using Microsoft Visual Studio and the .NET framework using Oracle and/or SQL Server databases.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree in an IT field is required.  A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or Information Management is preferred.
• Must possess at least one (1) year of related experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance.

Additional Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently or as part of a team is required.
• Knowledge of application development using Microsoft .NET tools with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) is required.
• Familiarity with Entity Framework, Azure DevOps, and Agile development a strong plus.
