Job Summary:

 

 

  • Design building used for manufacturing operations that meet applicable codes. 
  • Interface with outside engineering firms and the authority having jurisdiction for the NOG-L site. 
  • Perform calculations on building infrastructure, such as mezzanines and foundations, to ensure they meet codes and OEM standards.

 

 

Job Qualifications/Requirements:

 

 

  • BS in Structural/Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution required.
  • Three+ years’ experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in designing manufacturing structures and foundations to meet building codes and OEM requirements.
  • Must be proficient in the use of PC’s, drawing systems, RISA 3D and Microsoft products.
  • Must be proficient in the static analysis of building and non-building structures, using ASD or LRFD.
  • Candidate should have past experience, or education in the design and analysis of steel members, reinforced concrete, masonry, and other common building materials.
  • Must be able to read and interpret geotechnical reports for use in the analysis and design of building and equipment foundations
  • Building Codes currently adopted by NOG-L AHJ (Campbell County).

US Citizenship, with no dual citizenship is required for this position. 

Applicants selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or matter.
