Your Day to Day as a Process Engineer: 

  • Performs detailed analysis and derives engineering conclusions
  • Interfaces closely with Filler Manufacturing Operations, Quality Control, and other groups as necessary
  • Authors manufacturing documents (routings, procedures, drawings, etc.)
  • Submits documents to the customer to resolve product issues
  • Obtain approval for development and qualifications and make contract adjustments 

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • B.S. degree in Engineering, Material Science, or Physics 
  • Able to establish good working relationships with customers and coworkers
  • Must be self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multifunctional team
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship
