Job Summary:

The Industrial Hygiene & Safety (IHS) Professional serves as an advisor for clean-up operations as a result of past transuranic (TRU) waste processing activities. Specific duties may include, but are not necessarily limited to, conducting industrial hygiene and safety assessments to evaluate contaminated sites, analyzing and recommending technical IHS solutions. The IHS Professional is responsible for the implementation of IHS policies, procedures, and systems related to CH-TRU’s programs. The IHS Professional collaborates with the CH-TRUs workforce in developing solutions to complex IHS problems that require in-depth analysis of work activities.
