Position Overview:
As our Senior Manager for High Purity Depleted Uranium (HPDU), you will play a pivotal role in the overall success of HPDU project. This position will be responsible for leading and managing the HPDU function at the NOG-J site. This role involves resource planning, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve organizational objectives. The role will oversee all areas of the HPDU organization, drive performance improvements, and ensure alignment with the company’s goals while fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

Your Day to Day as a Senior Manager for HPDU:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement departmental strategies and objectives that align with the overall vision and goals of the organization.
- Provide leadership and direction to teams, ensuring that departmental objectives are achieved effectively and efficiently.
Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of employees, providing guidance and support for professional development and performance improvement.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, set individual goals, and facilitate team-building initiatives.
Project Oversight:
- Manage and oversee key projects, ensuring that they are executed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate efforts and resolve any issues that arise.
Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring cost control.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the department.
Process Improvement:
- Analyze current processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and implement enhancements.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures to streamline operations and ensure consistency.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure departmental success and progress.
- Prepare and present regular reports on departmental performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement to senior leadership.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding departmental initiatives, challenges, and accomplishments.
- Foster strong relationships with colleagues across the organization to facilitate cooperation and communication.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with departmental operations and functions.
Personnel Management:
- Fosters an inclusive and supportive workplace culture that values differing perspectives and skills across all generations, encouraging innovative thinking and collaboration.
- Provides coaching and counsel to construction subcontractors on performance management and conflict resolution.
- Supports project changes by guiding team through transitions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in management or a related field, with a demonstrated track record of success in a leadership role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.

Pay: $132,000 - $203,000
The base salary range for this position in Tennessee (US-TN) at the start of employment is expected to be between $132,000 and $203,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,’ unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement. The company further reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and other market factors.
