Position Overview:
As our Project Manager for High Purity Depleted Uranium (HPDU), you will play a pivotal role in establishing and standing up the HPDU facility at NOGJ. This position will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects for the HPDU program. This role requires strong technical knowledge combined with project management skills to coordinate efforts across cross-functional teams. The role will ensure that projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards while aligning with the organization's strategic objectives. Further, the role will act as the lead for all design activities for the HPDU project.

Your Day to Day as a Project Manager for HPDU:
Project Planning and Execution:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Serve as a liaison between other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Facilitate collaboration across teams, driving consensus on project goals and deliverables.
Technical Oversight:
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assess technical risks and develop strategies to mitigate them proactively.
Stakeholder Management:
- Communicate project status, issues, and milestones to stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure their needs are addressed throughout the project.
Resource Management:
- Coordinate the allocation of resources, ensuring team members have the necessary support and tools to succeed.
- Monitor resource utilization and adjust project plans as needed to meet project goals.
Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and manage risks to project success, implementing mitigation plans as necessary.
- Track project improvements and proactively address roadblocks.
Process Improvement:
- Implement and refine project management methodologies and best practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and recommend changes for future projects.
Budget Management:
- Assist in developing and managing project budgets, ensuring that projects stay within financial constraints.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations.
Personnel Management:
- Fosters an inclusive and supportive workplace culture that values differing perspectives and skills across all generations, encouraging innovative thinking and collaboration.
- Provides coaching and counsel to managers and employees on performance management, workforce planning, and conflict resolution.
- Fosters employee training and development initiatives aimed at enhancing skills and career growth, ensuring all employees feel empowered to reach their full potential.
- Supports project changes by guiding team through transitions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a principle or advisory engineering role, preferably in production-scale chemical processing environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex technical projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.

Pay: $112,000 - $177,000
The base salary range for this position in Tennessee (US-TN) at the start of employment is expected to be between $112,000 and $177,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,’ unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement. The company further reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and other market factors.
