Position Overview:


As our Program Scheduler for High Purity Depleted Uranium (HPDU) this position will be responsible for
developing, maintaining, and monitoring comprehensive project schedules for the HPDU Program.  This role involves collaborating with the program management organization, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within scope. The Program Scheduler will utilize project management software tools to create and update schedules while analyzing and reporting on project progress.

Your Day to Day as a Program Scheduler for HPDU:

Schedule Development:

  • Create detailed project schedules using project management software, ensuring all tasks, dependencies, and milestones are accounted for.

 

  • Collaborate with project managers to identify key deliverables and timelines.

Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Track project progress against the schedule, identifying any variances or potential delays.

 

  • Produce regular schedule updates and status reports to communicate progress to stakeholders.

Resource Allocation:

  • Assist project managers in identifying and allocating resources effectively according to project requirements and timelines.

 

  • Monitor resource utilization to ensure efficient use of personnel and materials.

Risk Analysis:

  • Analyze project schedules for risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to mitigate any identified issues.

 

  • Develop contingency plans for potential schedule delays or conflicts.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and management regarding scheduling and project status.

 

  • Prepare presentations and reports for meetings with stakeholders to discuss schedule updates and concerns.

Process Improvement:

  • Continuously assess scheduling processes and tools to identify areas for improvement.

 

  • Implement best practices in scheduling to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of project delivery.

Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate documentation of schedule updates, project timelines, and related correspondence.

 

  • Ensure that all scheduling data is accurately reflected in project management tools.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field.

 

  • 3+ years of experience in program or project scheduling, preferably in a technical or engineering environment.

 

  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar tools).

 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

 

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.

 

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

 

  • Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.

 

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical or engineering environment program or project experience preferred.

Pay: $64,000 - $101,000

 

The base salary range for this position in Tennessee (US-TN) at the start of employment is expected to be between $64,000 and $101,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,’ unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.  The company further reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and other market factors.
