Position Overview:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading, scheduling, and developing the maintenance technician team to ensure all equipment, facilities, and systems operate safely and efficiently. This role oversees daily maintenance activities, prioritizes work orders, coordinates preventive maintenance, and ensures compliance with safety and operational standards.

Your Day to Day as a Maintenance Supervisor:

• Supervises, coaches, and supports all maintenance technicians, including performance management and skill development.
• Assigns, prioritizes, and reviews daily work orders to ensure timely completion.
• Oversees preventive maintenance programs and ensures documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, and facility-related issues; assists technicians as needed.
• Partners with operations leadership to plan downtime, communicates maintenance needs, and minimizes production disruption.
• Maintains inventory of tools, parts, and supplies; coordinates with vendors as needed.
• Ensures all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
• Monitors equipment performance and recommend improvements to increase reliability and reduce cost.
• Leads root-cause analysis for equipment failures and drive corrective actions.
• Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and team schedules.
• Supports onboarding and training for new technicians and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or technical degree; additional certifications in industrial maintenance preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance and 2 years of experience as a front line manager.
• Knowledge of industrial equipment, facility systems, chemical pumps, valves, control systems, instrumentation and preventive maintenance practices.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Working knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, manufacturing or facility environment.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.

 Pay: $79,000 - $119,000

The base salary range for this position in Tennessee (US-TN) at the start of employment is expected to be between $79,000 and $119,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,’ unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.  The company further reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and other market factors.
