Position Overview:
As a Facilities/Maintenance Technician at NOGJ in Jonesborough, you will perform a variety of duties within the Maintenance department and will provide support throughout the facility and within all areas of production. This position reports directly to the Facilities/Maintenance Supervisor. This position requires the ability to work any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd), the ability to work overtime, weekends and shifts of 10 to 12 hours per day. Working under general supervision and following established policies, you will perform assignments requiring general use and application of concepts, practices and techniques within various areas of the facility.

Your Day to Day as Facilities/Maintenance Technician:
- Troubleshooting, maintenance, installation and repair of various machinery and shop equipment including but not limited to CNC lathes, mills, grinders, presses, furnaces, coating equipment, automatic welders, and hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical equipment
- General building and grounds maintenance; installation, repair and maintenance of electrical and plumbing systems and equipment
- Carpentry
- Reports issue and out of control conditions to supervision/management
- Evaluates, prioritizes and completes requests for repair
- Performs basic to moderately complex data collection
- Reports and provides feedback to supervision
- Conducts inspections and make recommendations to supervision
- Performs modifications to equipment
- Assists with preventative maintenance
- Maintains records as required
- Maintains clean work area
- Assists in other areas of the facility as required
Required Qualifications:
- Associates Degree or completion of two (2) years at a technical school. Courses of study must be in maintenance/facilities related field. Must have at least six (6) years facilities/maintenance work experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Intermediate knowledge of troubleshooting; repair/maintenance of various machinery including but not limited to CNC lathes, mills, grinders, hydraulic and mechanical presses, and heat treating/sintering furnaces; PLC’s; and power distribution systems
- Advanced knowledge of maintenance trades and associated tools and equipment including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, air conditioning, machinery and equipment repairs
- Analytical ability to perform moderately complex equipment evaluations
- Intermediate knowledge of math involving algebra and geometry
- Ability to schedule and prioritize workflow
- Effective computer skills and literacy
- Ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel and external contacts
- Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Able to work in a team environment.

- Must be a US Citizen with no dual citizenship
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DOD) and/or Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance

Pay: $110,000.00
The starting hourly rate for this position in Tennessee (US-TN) is expected to be $110,000.00 per hour. The hourly rate offered is based on local job market factors and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,’ unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement. The company further reserves the right to modify the hourly rate (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation, or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or applicable department/team performance, and other market factors.
