Position Overview:
The BWSR project is seeking a Training Manager for a position on the INL. The Training Manager is responsible for the administration of the BWSR safety training program, including occupational exams, and providing on the job supervision of training coordinators to ensure a properly trained workforce.
Location:
On-site at the Naval Reactors Facility (NRF) in Idaho
Your Day to Day as a Training Manager:
- Oversee BWSR safety training program, including tracking, scheduling, and delivery of required training.
- Oversee and provide metrics and optics into the status of employee training and qualifications.
- Communicates and coordinates with customer training and medical organizations.
- Teams with BWSR department managers in program development.
- This position requires the ability to communicate and coordinate with personnel from multiple departments.
- Track employee attendance, punctuality, and schedule adherence, ensuring compliance with company policies and operational needs.
- Fosters a safe working environment by making safety a visible priority.
- Conduct performance reviews, document performance issues, and implement corrective actions or performance improvement plans when required.
- Oversee learning management systems and training documentation. Evaluate its effectiveness using metrics, feedback, and performance data.
Required Qualifications:
- A four-year college degree.
- The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) “L” security clearance.
- Five years of supervisory/leadership experience in the field or related area.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior NNPP experience.
- Knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools.
