Training Coordinator - BWX Technologies, Inc. - Euclid, OH
Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop new course curriculum and modules, including detailed lesson plans, instructional material, tests, and other course evaluation methods, in accordance with the training process and instructional design concepts used by Training Department.
- Plan and coordinate course logistics including notification and scheduling.
- Plan, select and coordinate relevant programs and curriculum from external sources. Assist in modifying and customizing these programs as necessary to most accurately meet program areas' needs.
- Assure the training programs follow compliance and surpass regulatory agency requirements.
- Prepare appropriate reports for management to use in future planning and informed decision-making related to: program planning, program development, resource planning, space planning, and budget considerations.
- Deliver and present training courses as assigned.
- Assure the training record of each trainee is timely and accurately recorded.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience.
- Knowledge of adult instructional, learning theory principles, and learning management systems.
- Experience with developing, delivering, and maintaining training activities.
- Experience providing full-scope training materials, from analyzing company needs to lesson planning, development and implementation
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organization and program management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to report to work at an assigned office location. This position does not include a remote work option.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in record retention and tracking of training requirements and completion is desired.
- E-Learning experience (Articulate, Camtasia).
