What we offer:

  • Payrate:  $35.57/hour

  • Shift Premiums: 2nd/3rd shift = $1.00/hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual and dimensional inspection and maintain accurate documentation on a variety of parts in accordance with ANSI Y 14.5.
  • Assistance may be givien other oporators on proper operational procedures.
  • Perform housekeping and other job related duties as assigned by forman.
  • Must be willing and available to work any shift (2nd shift: 3pm - 11pm, 3rd shift: 11pm - 7am).  

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years of experience of Inspection on precision hardware, completion of an accredited training program will be considered.
  • Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Must apply basic math skills, read and interpret complex blueprints and Geometric symbols to identify inspection requirements, and select proper measuring devices.
  • Set-up and use a variety of mechanical and electrical measuring devices.
  • Visually and dimensionally inspect parts for conformance and take appropriate action to call out discrepancies.
  • Preform necessary documentation to assure proper disposition of accepted and rejected parts.
  • Maintain all paperwork including lab reports purchase orders, logbook, RTS records, etc.
  • Be able to lift up to 30 LBS and stand for long intervals for efficiency of operation and use mechanical aids (such as 2-wheel trucks and electric trucks) as required.
  • Pass required vision examination.
  • Meet all applicable visual/dimensional written and operational examinations.

Pay:  $$35.57

 

The starting rate for this position in Ohio (US-OH) is $$35.57 per hour. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, retirement and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment and are subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
