Position Overview:
As our Planner, you will focus on managing, maintaining, and reporting of program and shop floor data in a manner that facilitates cross-functional support of manufacturing and customer delivery schedules.

On-site in Euclid, Ohio
Your Day to Day as a Planner:
- Develop detailed program plans to meet delivery requirements and internal production needs.
- Work with internal operation's support and procurement to track progress of components.
- Represent program as team leader by assigning actions to team members and following up on status.
- Report status of assigned programs, highlighting problems/concerns, both internally and to customer.
- Analyze existing inventory/work-in-process and release new production orders to the shop floor.
- Ownership for systems data entry in SAP and integrity on assigned program(s).
- Analyze existing inventory and work-in-process to develop quantity analysis during Contract proposal cycle.
- Create and maintain forecast tools that support shop scheduling as well as operations manpower and capacity plan efforts.
- Work with PMO management to communicate and facilitate changing contract requirements. Initiate and lead task teams as required to insure proper execution.
- Maintain accurate manufacturing and inspection schedules, and associated job readiness data.
- Communicate schedule plans and support needs to Ops Supervision and Engineering groups.
- Maintain and report Departmental and Work Center loads.
- Lead cross-functional teams to accomplish operations and program goals.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or other relevant area.
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Requires expanded conceptual knowledge and experience in own area of expertise while still developing additional skill sets and capabilities.
- Solves standard problems by analyzing possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents.
- Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.
- Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team; works within guidelines and policies.
- Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.
