Maintenance Coordinator  -  BWX Technologies, Inc.  -  Euclid, OH 

The purpose of this position is to perform tasks related to planning/coordinating the overall preventative and predictive maintenance of the equipment within the facility, the replacement part inventory and the development and/or management of maintenance related projects and programs. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Creation, communication, and scheduling of preventative maintenance plan. 
  • Preventative maintenance kitting for all related machines. 
  • Order and track the repair or replacement of parts with external vendors. 
  • Monitor departmental inventory keep stock programs. 
  • Develop and manage maintenance related projects and programs as assigned. 
  • Create and publish maintenance related reports as assigned. 
  • Manage vendor communications for all waste removal. 
  • Manage facility oil storage and inventory systems.
  • Provide backup support for all customer and priority shipments. 
  • Provide backup support to FLM's when necessary. 
  • All other duties as assigned by management. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalency. Associates degree in mechanical or electronic technology is preferred. 
  • Minimum of six (6) years of related work experience. 
  • General knowledge of basic maintenance related activities. 
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and interpret standard industry codes and regulations. 
  • Strong verbal and technical writing skills. 
  • Strong attention to detail. 
  • Strong computer skills. 

 

Working Conditions: 

Typical working conditions are indoors, and vary between office and shop floor environments. Activities within the office involve frequent periods of sitting with some opportunity to move about. May require some physical activities such as climbing ladders, accessing rooftops, kneeling, crouching, or bending.
