Warehouse and Inventory Manager

 

Position Overview:

Manages and controls the NFS portion of the Supply Chain process, including all activities associated with Receiving and Inventory.  Responsible for managing the receipt, movement, and plant shipments of all non-nuclear materials and programs for the storage and movement of non-nuclear inventory.  Coordinates with Supply Chain Procurement staff and NFS plant customers to facilitate safe, timely, and accurate receipt and delivery of items.

On-site in Erwin, Tennessee.

 

Your Day to Day as a Warehouse and Inventory Manager:

  • Safety manages personnel assigned to the 250 Warehouse, including Warehouse Operations Supervisor and Yard and Clerical Employee staff
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain Management staff and NFS plant customers to facilitate receipts and deliveries that are timely, accurate, and compliant.
  • Manage the procedure for delivering items to the locations identified, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries.
  • Implement and manage non-Nuclear Inventory Programs that ensure the appropriate items and quantities are stocked, including the accuracy of on the shelf quantities, as compared to the on-hand quantities shown online.
  • Correspond with Item Maintenance Form (IMF) owners to right size minimum and maximum available items.
  • Facilitate resolution of item returns and problem orders via Supply Chain Management staff ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Assist personnel in problem solving, setting priorities, and resolving conflicts.  Work with personnel to identify, develo, and implement actions to improve performance and reduce costs.
  • Lead and implement continuous improvement methodolgies and technologies to improve warehouse management functions.
  • Execute other duties and responsiblities as assigned by the Facilities Engineering Manager.

 

Required Qualifications:

With a B. S. degree, ten years of supervisory/management experience in a technical production environment, nuclear facility or military facility.  Without a B. S. Degree, over 18 years of supervisory/management experience in a technical production environment, nuclear facility or military facility. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pay: $114,000 - $180,000

 

The base salary range for this position in Tennessee (US-TN) at the start of employment is expected to be between $114,000 and $180,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,’ unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.  The company further reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and other market factors.
