Inventory / Item Control Specialist 1 -- Nuclear Fuel Services - Erwin, TN

 

Summary Description of Job:

 

To assist in maintaining the computerized (NuMAC) item control, measurement, and transfer data to assure acceptable data integrity.  Job also includes oversight of MC&A clerical in assigned area of responsibility.

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities of Job:

 

1.  Assist in maintaining computerized (NuMAC) data for SNM item control, inventory, measurements, and transfers to assure acceptable data integrity (current item identify, quantity, and location).

2.  Assist in maintaining the other SNM inventory, transfer, and item control documents that are not a part of the on-line computer (NuMAC) system.

3.  Assist in guiding the inventory listing and performing all activities to reconcile/report and inventory.

4.  Assist in audits of the SNM inventory, item control, measurement, and transfer data.

5.  Assist in preparation of sampling/compositing plans, and special inventory instructions as directed by the physical inventory procedure.

6.  Assist in maintaining the tamper indicating seal inventory/issue/control.

7.  Coordinate the correction of data error with the users of the NuMAC system.

8.  Assist in the investigation and reconciliation of inventories, ledgers, and reports to assure all errors have been corrected.

9.  Oversight of MC&A clerical personnel in the program area.

 

Educational Requirements of Job:

 

B. S. -- Math, Technical or Business degree OR in lieu of B. S. degree 8 years' experience in related field -- MC&A, Inventory or supervision experience.

 

Experience Requirements (Beyond educational or equivalent):

 

One year or less experience.

 

 

Pay: $53,000.00 - $86,00.00

The base salary range for this position in Tennessee (US-TN) at the start of employment is expected to be between $53,000.00 and $86,00.00 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,’ unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.  The company further reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and other market factors.
