Co-Op (Spring 2026) (Work Management)

 

Position Overview:

Assist with all aspects of service within the Work Management department and Work Control/Maintenance processes.

 

Location:

On-site in Erwin, TN.

 

 

Your Day to Day as a Co-Op for Work Management:

  • Assist with reviewing Work Packages and Preventive Maintenance procedures to ensure appropriate permits, work instructions (including work sequences, pre-requisites, acceptance criteria, etc.) and signatures are complete prior to execution. Assist with correcting deficiencies, as needed.
  • Function as a liaison between groups, as necessary, to provide safe and efficient completion of work requests.
  • Assist with scheduling maintenance work items.
  • Assist with processing/scanning of work packages to ensure required records are retained appropriately.
  • Assist with document creation and routing
  • Assist with manpower and personnel scheduling.
  • Order parts and assist with warehouse management
  • Assist with daily PM printing, sorting, distribution, comment resolution, parts and materials ordering, etc.
  • Learning overall Maintenance process and observing maintenance evolutions.
  • Observing and learning PM performance
  • Track Maintenance efficiency and monitor maintenance metrics.
  • Sort and organize Maintenance bench stock and supplies.
  • Assist with audits of WM signage, labeling and postings.
  • Assist with PIRCS related information gathering and tracking

 

Required Qualifications:

Must be a currently enrolled high-school senior level student age 18 or greater.

Requires U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance which involves an extensive criminal and financial background investigation and previous employment reference verifications.

 

 

Pay: $18.50

 

The starting hourly rate for this position in Tennessee (US-TN) is expected to be $18.50 per hour.  The hourly rate offered is based on local job market factors and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,’ unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.  The company further reserves the right to modify the hourly rate (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation, or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or applicable department/team performance, and other market factors.
