Intech International Inc. (a subsidiary of BWXT Canada Ltd.) is seeking a Workforce Coordinator / Project Administrator to work out of their Dundas, Ontario location.


Job Summary:


To support the coordination and administration aspects of the staffing and resource management program.  This, in part, includes planning, staffing, security clearance processing, dose management, field time reporting, payroll processing and data entry.




  • Follow an established planning cycle with detailed milestones.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders.
  • Recruit qualified candidates to meet staff demands.
  • Maintain detailed records of recruitment activities and issue weekly status updates.
  • Monitor security clearance status of employees and maintain current clearances.
  • Prepare staffing lists detailing roster of workers, start and end dates for each worker, role classification, and other relevant details.
  • Manage employee dose records and complete accurate dose forms.
  • Issue deployment schedules.
  • Provide effective and efficient support and resource to project managers.
  • Utilize in-house software application to be used for many aspects of resource management and reporting.
  • Track and report on hours worked.
  • Periodically report to Nuclear sites to support time reporting activities.
  • Assume other related responsibilities as may be required to improve the program performance.
  • Adhere to protocols for communication with customers and affiliated unions.


The position requires some travel (approx. 5% or less) to customer sites.


The candidate must submit to, and pass a security clearance investigation of themselves by Intech’s customers and their security agencies. Security clearance for access to nuclear facilities will not be granted to persons with criminal offences for which a pardon has not been granted or for any other reason deemed relevant by the customer.




  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance in order to gain entry into Nuclear Power Plant sites.
  • College education.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Administrative experience.
  • Proficient with basic mathematical equations and efficient using numerical data in decision making.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to re-assess priorities to ensure due dates are met.
  • Field experience at a Nuclear Power Generating Station would be an asset.
