We are recruiting for a Talent Management Coordinator for our facility in Cambridge, ON.
JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Senior Talent Management Consultant, the Talent Management Coordinator will play a key role in the Talent Management team, assisting in the support, planning, organizing and deployment of talent management programs and the LMS (Learning Management System). This role interacts with individuals, functional managers, and director level in the development and deployment of training and tracking training completion. It also interfaces with subject matter experts.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Talent Management Support
- Coordinate and schedule training programs, working closely with the facilitator or vendor.
- Create and update training material in conjunction with the training team and SME.
- Develop or acquire and deploy training materials.
- Provide training administration support to the Talent Management team.
LMS Administration
- Oversee the LMS and maintain regular tracking, reporting and updates for training initiatives.
- Ensure required training materials are available to employees via the LMS.
- Assign and log training.
- Administer training completion and follow-up with individuals and supervision on overdue training.
- Assist in leveraging LMS capabilities across the organization.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvements, provide feedback on utilization, discrepancies and suggested enhancements.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- College Diploma or Certificate Program.
- Some experience and knowledge of (typically 2 to 5 years):
- LMS administration systems, such as Success Factors;
- Creating training materials using software such as Articulate Storyline;
- Computer use, including Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word;
- Training methodology and principles.
- Ability to work cross functionally.
- Ability to prioritize and manage a number of small concurrent projects.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational ability and records management.
