We are currently recruiting for a Source Assurance Coordinator, for our Cambridge, ON location.

 

JOB PURPOSE

 

Review supplier documentation, coordinate expert reviews, identify and resolve material documentation issues and release finalized documentation to Quality Records.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

  • Log and update Receiving Report information for incoming shipments until the point that the shipment is Green Tagged and the Receiving Report is delivered to Quality Records.
  • Review supplier documentation and raise a Transmittal Report (TR) for incomplete and/or inaccurate data from suppliers. Follow through on monitoring progress of TRs until closeout and work can resume.
  • Create Non-Conformance Reports (NR) for items that do not comply with BWXT requirements. Follow through on monitoring progress of NRs until closeout and work can resume.
  • Create Expert Review requests for Materials Engineering and Non-Destructive Engineering reviews of procedures and documentation. Follow through on monitoring progress of QRs until closeout and work can resume.
  • Create Conditional Releases for priority materials awaiting expert review of documentation. Monitor and closeout Conditional Releases as quickly as possible to enable Green Tagging of materials.
  • Review Nuclear History Dockets/CMTR Document Packages to ASME Code.
  • Review Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) for various contracts and vendors.
  • Interact with Buyers and follow up with shop priorities.
  • Ensure work practices conform to regulatory requirements in order to support registrations, product development and manufacturing.

 

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

 

  • Degree or diploma in Business Administration, technical background and/or Quality Management preferred.
  • Developed knowledge and applied use of CSA N285, ASME Section II Part A, Part B, Part C – Ferrous, Non-Ferrous Material Specifications & Specification for Welding Rods, Electrodes & Filler Metals, ASME Section III – Construction of Nuclear Facility Components, ASME Section VIII – Pressure Vessels as it relates to code related material documentation.
  • Strong time management skills and able to re-assess priorities to ensure due dates are met.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise systems and how to manage change.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage and respond to multiple priority requests daily.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Experience with SAP – Materials Management, Logistics & Quality, is considered an asset.
  • 2+ years’ experience in Quality, Source Assurance or a related field.
  • Experience in SharePoint is an asset.

The base salary range for this position in [[Ontario]] at the start of employment is expected to be between $[[58,000]] and $[[76,000]] per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment.
