We are seeking a Scheduler for our Cambridge, ON location.  


Job Summary:


Work with front line supervision / team leaders to ensure product scheduling is clearly communicated, updated, and on track through respective areas of the manufacturing facility.

In this role, your responsibilities include:


  • Organize and schedule production work orders for the plant to ensure that the required products are manufactured in line with the project plans.
  • Develop recovery and acceleration strategies as required.
  • Develop contingency plans during overload and under load periods.
  • Liaise with shop personnel and supporting departments to ensure priorities are understood and executed.
  • Actively participate in all projects related to process improvements and the implementation of new systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.




  • Completion of a college technology diploma, complimented by 3 years of shop scheduling or related experience.
  • Proven analytical problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret fabrication and machining drawings and specifications.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Experience with a scheduling software would be a definite asset (such as Primavera).
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Adaptable, flexible, and able to work well under pressure.
