BWXT is currently seeking Welding Engineering Interns for its Barberton facility


We are looking for motivated college students to join our highly-skilled team of engineers for an exciting summer internship in Ohio.


Job Description/Duties:


The Welding Engineering Intern will need to work with minimal direction.  Intern will be assigned to work under one or more BWXT Welding Engineers.  Candidate will be assigned one or more projects, working with a staff Welding Engineer.  Project(s) work to be planned, reviewed with the mentor engineer with regular updates provided.  Individual will then execute the project(s) as planned, providing oversight and in some cases completing the work themselves.  Using the data collected and literature search results, a final report out to the welding engineering staff will be required at the completion of internship.  Candidate will be exposed to and assigned other minor duties during the summer to gain exposure and experience to BWXT.


Job Qualifications/Requirements


- Welding Engineering student having completed 2nd year in the Welding Engineering program. 

- Prior internship experience is preferred but not required. 

- Internship period from early May 2022 - September 2022

- Ability to work on a PC, using Microsoft Office applications

- Ability to work and communicate with various departments

 - Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship
