Source Inspector  - BWX Technologies, Inc.  -  Barberton, OH

 

Responsibilities include:  

 

  • Visit suppliers to review processes/problems and conduct source inspections.
  • Prepare and execute inspection plans for subcontracted parts.
  • Develop source inspection plans. 
  • Perform vendor audits.
  • Review and disposition Vendor Procedures and non-conforming materials. 
  • Review suppliers' certifications and inspection records. 

 

Qualifications / Requirements:

 

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field
  • Typically, a minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Must be willing to travel as necessary. Travel is expected to be 50% of the individuals time. Most travel is local (day visits) or within 150 miles of Barberton OH (one or two days including overnight stay)
  • Ability to pass the layout dimensional examination. 
  • Knowledge of welding and NDT/NDE is a plus
