Position Overview:
The Project Administrator plays a critical role in supporting and facilitating improvement projects managed by the Strategic Initiatives Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing project management tools and templates, fostering cross-site collaboration, and ensuring optimal project performance through effective communication and administrative support.

On-site in Barberton, OH

 

Your Day to Day as a Strategic Initiatives Project Administrator:

  • Support improvement projects managed by the Strategic Initiatives Team.
  • Maintain and improve tools and templates for the Strategic Initiatives PMO
  • Work with team manager to organize and develop opportunities for cross site collaboration including Innovation Council and Technical Exchanges
  • Work with external/internal customers to ensure optimal performance of projects and various administrative tasks including team reports, executive communications, and performance metrics.
  • Manage several improvement projects relating to cost and span
  • This role will support NOG Northern Sites and will require some travel.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with business management systems preferred 
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate across a diverse range of disciplines, experiences, and personalities
  • Extensive experience in Microsoft Office is required
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.
