Inventory Control Technician -  BWX Technologies, Inc.  -  Barberton, OH

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Facilitate the cycle count program for warehouse and crib locations managed by Material Services.
  • Perform reconciliation for discrepant counts reported and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Maintain and analyze metrics for cycle count accuracy and overall locations counted.
  • Assist in development projects aimed at enhancing inventory accuracy and reducing count cycle turn time.
  • Support the ordering process for MRO material kept in the supply cribs.
  • Serve as a backup for the crib inventory control technician, ensuring seamless inventory management.

 

Job Qualifications/Requirements:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Experience working in a unionized environment is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with SAP software, supply chain, and purchasing processes is a plus.
