Industrial Engineer   -   BWX Technologies, Inc. -   Barberton, Ohio 


Responsibilities include:


• The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for evaluating and managing goal hours for Manufacturing Processes and other supporting processes within the facility

• Utilize industrial engineering methods to evaluate and improve manufacturing operations

• Provide cost, quality, and schedule improvement recommendations to Manufacturing Engineers and Unit Manager

• Assist Manufacturing Engineers with implementing recommended improvements to their manufacturing processes

• Monitor and track improvements for various components and/or processes

• Report to Unit Manager, quarterly hour overrun and underruns, ongoing improvements, and man-hour prediction changes for the upcoming quarter

• Work with Operations management to analyze and collect detailed data on various manufacturing operations across the facility

• Provide input to Operations management on job overruns/underruns with cause analysis

• Identify and implement opportunities for standardizing work between programs


Job Qualifications/Requirements:


• Minimum B.S. Degree in Industrial Engineering or applicable field from an accredited program

• Minimum 4 years’ experience
