Facilities Engineer - BWX Technologies, Inc. - Barberton, OH
Responsibilities include:
- Facility and Capital project management from design to completion.
- Participates in projects involving building/infrastructure maintenance, repairs and improvements including equipment related to compressed air systems, HVAC systems, energy systems, machine installation, roof replacement/maintenance, building renovations, office furniture, grounds maintenance, construction management, and other civil type projects. Particiption includes design, design review, attending meetings, investigating and applying engineering principles.
- Perfoms inspections and surveilance of outside contractor work
- Train and enforce safety policies for work being executed
- Support production and special project needs when required
- Provide engineering support and project management for related maintenance projects
- Work with procurement to provide purchasing documentation, terms, and conditions on related projects
- Provide recommendations for facility capital improvements
- Develop executive capital summaries and documentation for capital projects
- Develop AutoCAD drawings
Job Requirements / Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in technical related field with 5 year's of experience
- Relevant experience working within a facilities maintenance, engineering, plant engineering role
- AutoCAD experience
- May be required to work overtime occasionally
