Facilities Engineer  -  BWX Technologies, Inc.  -  Barberton, OH



Responsibilities include:


  • Facility and Capital project management from design to completion.
  • Participates in projects involving building/infrastructure maintenance, repairs and improvements including equipment related to compressed air systems, HVAC systems, energy systems, machine installation, roof replacement/maintenance, building renovations, office furniture, grounds maintenance, construction management, and other civil type projects.  Particiption includes design, design review, attending meetings, investigating and applying engineering principles.
  • Perfoms inspections and surveilance of outside contractor work
  • Train and enforce safety policies for work being executed
  • Support production and special project needs when required
  • Provide engineering support and project management for related maintenance projects
  • Work with procurement to provide purchasing documentation, terms, and conditions on related projects
  • Provide recommendations for facility capital improvements
  • Develop executive capital summaries and documentation for capital projects
  • Develop AutoCAD drawings


Job Requirements / Qualifications:


  • Bachelors Degree in technical related field with 5 year's of experience
  • Relevant experience working within a facilities maintenance, engineering, plant engineering role
  •  AutoCAD experience
  • May be required to work overtime occasionally
